Terms of Service
What this covers
The terms you buy under. Delivery, access, what happens when something is wrong, the 24-hour LootBuy warranty, refunds and remedies, and your rights as a consumer.
About LootBuy
LootBuy is an online shop selling game accounts for Fortnite and Brawl Stars. In these terms, “LootBuy”, “we” and “us” mean the operator of this shop, and “you” means the person buying from it.
Our contact details are on the Help page, and support is the right route for anything about an order.
Scope
These terms apply to your use of this site and to every order you place on it. They form the agreement between you and LootBuy. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with personal data and forms part of the same relationship.
Who may buy
You may buy from LootBuy if you can enter into a binding contract under the law that applies to you. If you are below the age at which you can do so on your own, you may only buy with the consent of a parent or guardian.
Game accounts are also subject to the publisher's own age and eligibility rules, which apply to you independently of these terms.
What we sell
We sell access to game accounts. Each product page describes an individual account and its contents at the time it was listed.
An account is a one-off item: when it is sold it is gone, and two customers cannot buy the same account.
Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we confirm your payment and begin preparing your account.
An order may cover more than one account. Where any part of an order cannot be completed, we tell you and resolve it with you rather than partly delivering it and leaving the rest unexplained.
Prices
The price shown on the product page and at checkout is the price you pay, in the currency shown. The price is fixed onto your order when the order is created and does not change afterwards.
We correct obvious errors. If a price is clearly wrong, we will tell you before taking payment and you are free not to proceed.
Payment
Payment is taken through the methods offered at checkout. The checkout shows only methods that are actually available; it never offers one it cannot process.
An order is treated as paid when the payment is confirmed by the payment provider, not when a browser returns from one. Nothing is delivered before that.
Delivery and access
Delivery is automatic and digital. Once your payment is confirmed and the account is prepared, the account details are released to you in your purchase area on this site, on the order itself — normally straight away.
We do not send account details by email, by chat, or through social media. If an order needs to be checked before anything is released, the order says so and support handles it.
Because delivery is immediate digital supply, please read section 17 before you buy.
Full Access and credentials
Accounts are sold as Full Access: you receive the account together with access to the email address linked to it, so you can change the account's password and its security settings yourself.
The credentials are yours to look after from the moment they are released to you. Section 10 explains what that means in practice.
Your security responsibilities
After you receive an account, you are responsible for securing it. That means:
- changing the game account's password;
- turning on two-factor authentication where the publisher offers it;
- reviewing the account's connections and removing any you do not want;
- securing the linked email address;
- keeping the login, password and linked email private.
Not taking these steps makes problems more likely, and we may not be able to help with a problem that arises because they were not taken.
Publisher terms and account restrictions
Every game account remains subject to the terms of the publisher whose game it is. Those terms are between you and the publisher, and they apply to you whatever these terms say.
Publishers reserve the right to limit, suspend or close accounts, and publisher terms generally restrict transferring an account. LootBuy does not control those decisions, cannot appeal them on your behalf, and does not promise that they will never happen.
Accuracy of product descriptions
We build each product page from the account's actual contents and take care that it is accurate at the time of listing.
Game publishers change their games. Items can be renamed, reworked, retired or made unavailable by the publisher after a listing is created, and that is outside our control.
Problems with an order
If something is wrong, report it through the order's own support conversation, using I have a problem with this order. Tell us what happened and include evidence — an error message, a screenshot — wherever you can.
We verify what you report. Where the problem is confirmed and covered, we provide a remedy under section 14. Where an account materially differs from its description, support reviews the case and decides the outcome; it is not chosen automatically.
The LootBuy 24-hour commercial warranty
LootBuy gives an additional commercial warranty of 24 hours from delivery. If you report a covered problem within that window, we review it, and where it is verified and covered we provide a replacement account of equivalent value.
It covers, in particular:
- account details that do not work when you first use them;
- an account that materially differs from its description on the product page.
It does not cover:
- changes a publisher makes to its own game;
- action a publisher takes because of how the account was used after you received it;
- problems that follow from the account details being shared, or from the security steps in section 10 not being taken;
- a change of mind.
Refunds and remedies
The remedy LootBuy offers under its own warranty is a replacement. We do not offer voluntary cash refunds, and we do not offer a discretionary right to cancel an order once it has been paid for.
This paragraph describes what LootBuy chooses to offer. It does not, and cannot, remove any refund, repair, replacement, price reduction or cancellation right that consumer law gives you. Where the law gives you such a right, it applies, and sections 16 and 17 describe it.
Your statutory consumer rights
If you buy as a consumer, you have rights under consumer law that these terms do not affect.
In the European Union, digital content and digital services must be as described and fit for purpose. Where they are not, you are entitled to have the problem put right; and where that is impossible, refused, or not done within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you are entitled to a proportionate price reduction or, unless the problem is minor, to end the contract.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit a right you have under mandatory consumer law, and where a term of ours conflicts with such a right, the law wins.
Right of withdrawal and immediate digital delivery
Consumers in the European Union normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract.
There is an exception for digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, where supply has already begun. It applies only if, before supply began, you gave your prior express consent to begin immediately, you acknowledged that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal, and we confirmed that to you.
Fraud and abuse
We may refuse or cancel an order, and may restrict access to this shop, where we reasonably believe a payment is fraudulent, a chargeback is being used dishonestly, an account is being resold in breach of these terms, or the shop is being abused.
Intellectual property
The LootBuy name, this site and its design belong to LootBuy. Game names, logos, artwork and in-game content belong to their respective owners, and their appearance here is descriptive: it identifies what an account contains and implies no endorsement, licence or partnership.
No affiliation with publishers
LootBuy is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or authorised by Epic Games, Inc. or Supercell Oy, and we do not act on their behalf.
Service availability
We aim to keep the shop available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, technical failures and events outside our control can interrupt it, and the catalogue changes constantly as accounts are sold.
Liability
We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our failure to meet these terms.
We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for loss caused by your failure to secure an account after receiving it, or for a publisher's own decisions about an account.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and for any mandatory statutory liability towards consumers.
Changes to these terms
We publish changed terms as a new version, with its own version number and effective date shown at the top of this page. The version in force when you place an order is the version that applies to that order, and earlier versions are kept.
Governing law and mandatory consumer protection
Whatever law governs these terms, if you buy as a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in the courts your own law allows.
Contact
For anything about an order, use the order's own support conversation. For everything else, the contact details are on our Help page.
